Meet Chef Addison

Cooking has always been a part of who I am. At three years old, my mom found me sitting on the kitchen counter dumping into the mixer all the correct ingredients to make chocolate chip cookies. My family encouraged me in the kitchen, and I spent hours experimenting with flavors, baking treats, and discovering the joy of creating something that could bring people together. Food has always been my way of connecting with others, expressing care, and finding a little happiness in the everyday.

High school brought a challenge when I was diagnosed with food allergies. At first, it felt like my dream of going to culinary school was slipping away, but I didn’t give up. Eventually, I found Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, where I could safely pursue my passion. Over two years, I not only learned culinary techniques, but also explored holistic nutrition and wellness , lessons that guide the way I cook today.

My 12-week externship with Chef Jojo along Florida’s 30A was another turning point. It wasn’t just about recipes and techniques; I learned life skills, gained confidence, and saw how food can create meaningful experiences for people. That time reinforced something I’ve always believed: cooking is about care, connection, and joy.

Beyond the kitchen, my favorite thing in the world is spending quality time with friends and family, they are what matter most to me. Warm summer days often find me sipping fresh squeezed lemonade or orange juice, painting with watercolors, going on long walks, Those small joys, combined with connection and creativity, inspire me every day and remind me of what truly matters.

Today, I focus on bringing that same care, thoughtfulness, and warmth to the meals I create. Whether it’s meal prep or private dinners, my goal is always the same: to make people feel seen, cared for, and celebrated through the simple, joyful act of sharing a meal.
